Bangladesh Arsenic
Mitigation and Water Supply Project
(BAMWSP) aims at alleviating the adverse
impacts of arsenic contamination of
drinking water. The components of
BAMWSP include on-site mitigation
by the installation of deep tube-wells
and improved understanding of the
arsenic problem through study of detailed
hydrology characterization in the
affected areas.
