"Effective IP Address Management: Asia-Pacific Policies and Procedures"

This course is an important presentation of current APNIC policies, a guide to completing APNIC request forms successfully, and covers important sections such as preparing a network plan, APNIC database procedures, AS procedures, Reverse DNS and IPv6.

Who should attend the APNIC training?

The target audience is technical personnel located in the Asia and Pacific Region, who have responsibility for allocating and/or assigning IP addresses.

For example:

  • hostmaster employees of network information centres or ISPs
  • network planners and designers
  • network installation engineers

Important note for participants

Seats are limited for this event. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Due to the large amount of interest already expressed we expect that many people will wish to register for this training opportunity. As such, we must limit registration to two people per organisation. Participants from APNIC members will receive priority.

APNIC is concerned that people will register and then fail to attend because the training is offered at no cost to the participant. APNIC expects every person who registers for this training to attend on 23 January 2003. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you.
