First national level
thematic discussion on PRSP
A day long open
discussion session on PRSP was held at the Planning Commission
NEC Building on March 14, 2004. The open discussion focuses on
the poverty reduction strategic planning by integrating the
views of different groups of people at the national level.
Mr. M. Saifur Rahman, Hon'ble Minister
for Finance & Planning, Government of the People's Republic of
Bangladesh inaugurated the session as the Chief Guest. Dr.
Kamal Uddin Siddiqui, Principal Secretary to the Prime
Minister chaired the opening session while the welcome address
was given by Dr. Quazi Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Member, Planning
Commission.
