Tentative estimated cost of the proposed identified links project is US $ 112 Billion – 200 Billion over a 35 year period. 

This will account for nearly 1/4th of  the country’s GDP 

NPP is put at Rs 3300 B at 1995-6 price level and Rs 5600 B at 2002 price.
